Empowering Teens & Young Adults with ADHD
What is ADHD Coaching?
What is ADHD coaching?
ADHD coaching is a specialized form of coaching designed to help individuals with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) develop skills, strategies, and habits to manage their symptoms and achieve personal goals. ADHD coaches work collaboratively with clients to address challenges related to executive functioning—areas that individuals with ADHD often find particularly difficult.
How does it work?
Individualized Approach: Coaching is tailored to the unique needs, goals, and challenges of the client.
Skill Building: Coaches help clients develop practical skills to manage daily life.
Accountability: Regular check-ins and support keep clients on track toward their goals.
Strength-Based Focus: Coaching helps clients identify and leverage their strengths rather than solely focusing on their challenges.
Supportive Partnership: The coach-client relationship is collaborative and nonjudgmental, providing a safe space for exploring difficulties and testing solutions.
Who is it for?
Teens: Students who struggle with school performance, organization, and focus.
Young Adults: Individuals transitioning to or from college, juggling work, relationships, and personal responsibilities.
Parents: To better understand and support their child with ADHD.
